The moon shaped girth for the felt saddle

Our moon girths are specially made for felt saddles with parallel buckles.
They are available in black, brown, and London brown with brass or stainless steel fittings.
A few tips on handling:

The length of the girth is always measured from roller buckle to roller buckle.
The moon saddle girths are made exclusively for our felt saddle models and should be strapped on so that the stirrup leathers are not kinked. The stirrup leathers should be positioned towards the center of the saddle. The reason for this is that the pressure of the girth is distributed evenly across the felt saddle – not just at the front of the horse’s withers. It should therefore be used the other way round to what you might expect. This means with the curve (pointing downwards in the photo) facing forwards, as the stirrup leathers of the felt saddle are closer to the center of the saddle and the stirrups should not be pulled forwards.
When selecting the length, it should also be noted that the buckles of the saddle girth should not be too high, as this could possibly interfere with the rider’s calf.
